The Charitable Foundation for the Education of Nepalese Children (CFENC) is a small not-for-profit and non-political charity founded in 2009, with deeply personal roots, working to help and improve the educational opportunities available to all children of all ages and backgrounds in Nepal.

About Us
Lisa Whitehouse-Foskett
Founding Trustee
Lisa is the Founder of CFENC and with over 20 years experience has extensive experience in charity management, fundraising and operational skills.
Her passion for Nepal, it’s people and education as the ‘golden key’ drive her vision to help children from all backgrounds achieve their education, completing their SEE certification and assisting them to achieve their personal goals and ambitions.
Peter Foskett
Trustee, Secretary and Treasurer
Peter has also travelled within Nepal both independently and a number of time together with Lisa. He and Lisa ‘are CFENC’. Peter is a Lawyer by profession and a Partner in a large firm based in the South West of England. He is responsible for the Secretarial and Accounting aspects of operating CFENC.
Our Mission
To advance the education of the general public of Nepal (and in particular children) including (but without limitation) by.
- providing and assisting in the provision of stationery, equipment.
- The relief of financial need and suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of disaster in Nepal in the form of money
- sponsoring and awarding prizes for educational achievement.
- making grants available to adults to enable them to return to education.
